ADAS Calibration Is a Safety Requirement — Not a Recommendation

Calibrate if:

  • An ADAS sensor or module was replaced.
  • An ADAS sensor or its mounting was removed and replaced.
  • There was an impact near the sensor.
  • An ADAS sensor mounting area has been changed (body or frame repair, new bumper, removed module mounting bracket, removed windshield, 

ADAS Calibration Is a Safety Requirement — Not a Recommendation

Calibrate if:

  • An ADAS sensor or module was replaced.
  • An ADAS sensor or its mounting was removed and replaced.
  • There was an impact near the sensor.
  • An ADAS sensor mounting area has been changed (body or frame repair, new bumper, removed module mounting bracket, removed windshield, removed door, removed mirror etc.)
  • There is a fault code or warning light for an ADAS system.
  • A manufacturer requires it per a position statement.
