- An ADAS sensor or its mounting was removed and replaced.
- There was an impact near the sensor.
- An ADAS sensor mounting area has been changed (body or frame repair, new bumper, removed module mounting bracket, removed windshield,

- There is a fault code or warning light for an ADAS system.
- A manufacturer requires it per a position statement.
